About the Programme

Programme Overview

Data has become one of the most powerful assets for international organisations. The United Nations Data Strategy and the UN 2.0 vision place data at the centre of evidence-based decision-making, accelerating sustainable development and improving how the system serves communities around the world.

This blended programme equips you with the practical knowledge and technical skills to manage, analyse and communicate data effectively in complex international environments. It combines self-paced modules with applied case studies and decision exercises fully tailored to the UN context.

Ten thematic modules — each ending with a 15-question quiz (75% to pass) — take you from data fundamentals through visualisation, storytelling and decision-making, all the way to applying predictive analytics responsibly in early warning, anticipatory action and programme targeting.
