Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK 2.0) — Level 3
A standalone advanced trauma first-aid course built on the MARCH protocol — giving non-medical personnel the skills to stop bleeding, secure airways, manage shock and keep casualties alive until help arrives.
Programme Overview
Most trauma deaths in the field happen in the first minutes — long before an ambulance or helicopter can arrive. The person most likely to save a life is the colleague standing next to the casualty.
The IFAK 2.0 Level 3 course trains you to use every item in the Individual First Aid Kit with confidence, following the internationally recognised MARCH protocol — Massive haemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation and Hypothermia/Head injury.
Through detailed lessons, 120 quiz questions and practical stations, you will learn tourniquet application, wound packing, airway management, chest seals, shock care, casualty movement, triage and structured handover to medical teams.
Learning Objectives
